Frame Five Studios: Then until now

Incase you'd like to know more

Frame Five Studios: 2006

Where it all began

In 2006 Frame Five Studios began its journey with two experienced designers working from a small garage on Hayling Island, Hampshire, England.

Successful designers in their own right, they came from very different industry backgrounds, and between them were accompanied with a wide range of skills.

Dan Hughes started his digital media path by graduating from the University of Bradford with a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer Animation and Special Effects.

As a freelance designer he has had proficient spells at various companies, including the world renowned Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, England.

Scott Seymour, on the other hand has a completely self taught background within the web-development industry.

From a very early age, Scott had developed an interest in computer programming, starting back in the days of MS-DOS.

Before the birth of Frame Five Studios, Scott had worked with various digital design agencies for clients such as Harrods, OCS and Honeywell.

In November 2005, Dan and Scott founded Frame Five Studios in preparation for it's launch in early 2006.

Their vision: to bring web development and 3D design together to create an interactive design studio specialising in aesthetically stunning and user-friendly web experiences.

Expanding Services

With a year under our belt and the studio ticking along nicely, we introduced Print and Marketing solutions to our repetoire, allowing us to meet the ever-changing demands of our customers.

These additional services allowed us to create all of the elements required to deliver a full package from a website through to business identity, logo design, business cards and promotional media.

We also expanded our 3D design department, identifying a key market within the construction industry, allowing us to focus primarily in the sectors of property development and interior design.

Industry standard 3D software enabled us to produce visualisations of proposed property developments, giving a highly realistic image of how a development will look.

3D visuals partnered with the introduction of print design and promotional media services, enabled Frame Five to provide full marketing packages for the commercial and residential development industry.

Growing Through the Recession

2009 proved to be a difficult year for many businesses.

However, Frame Five experienced a rise in sales and found we were taking on more projects throughout 2009 than we had done in any previous year.

With a lot of new businesses emerging, and established companies looking to reinforce their brand, we found that our workload had reached near full capacity.

The 2009 that we had all dreaded actually turned out to provide Frame Five with a steady flow of work to carry us through to 2010.

Looking Forward to the Future

One of the great challenges we face as a media studio is keeping up with the rate at which the industry changes, from new web standards and software developments to changing technology, Frame Five continue to evolve, encompassing these changes and meeting the expectations of our clients.

As we enter another year we look forward to working with both new and existing clients on a varied array of projects. We will continue to challenge ourselves and push the boundaries in creating rich-media and branding experiences both in digital and printed formats.

So, please feel free to get in touch with any questions, queries or comments regarding our products or services. We'd love to hear from you.
